The wellness vision session · one hour · $79 introductory

One hour, and your own words.

The conversation that normally happens in week one of coaching, available on its own. You leave with a sentence you wrote, four measures with your numbers in them, and a written recap two days later. No commitment follows it.

Book the session $79 while it is new, normally $150. Credited in full if you start coaching within thirty days

What it is

A sentence you arrived at yourself is the only kind that lasts.

That is not a nice idea. It is the finding the whole discipline is built on, and it is why coaching opens with a conversation rather than an intake form.

A goal you absorbed from somebody else, however sensible, tends not to survive the first week that goes wrong. One you worked out for yourself, in your own words, with your own reason underneath it, usually does. The hour exists to get you to that sentence, and almost nobody can do it alone, because it is hard to be honest about what you want with nobody asking you anything.

Paid when you book, so there is no call to get through first and nothing to be talked into.

The hour

The same shape every time.

Move along the hour to see what happens in each part of it.

Where you actually are

Not a questionnaire. What a normal week looks like right now, in your words, including the parts you would not put on a form.

Where this sits
Minutes 0 to 10 of sixty

What a good life looks like

The part most people have never been asked. It is slow on purpose and it is the reason the rest is not generic.

Minutes 10 to 30 of sixty

Writing the sentence

One sentence, specific enough that we could both tell in twelve weeks whether it had moved. You write it. I ask until it is yours.

Where this sits
Minutes 30 to 45 of sixty

The four measures

Confidence from one to ten, a comfortable pause after breathing out, sleep regularity across seven wake times, and the sentence itself. Three of them produce a number.

Where this sits
Minutes 45 to 55 of sixty

What you would try first

One experiment, sized until the confidence number is seven or better. Smaller than you think, which is the point.

Where this sits
Minutes 55 to 60 of sixty

On video, or on the phone if you would rather. I ask more than I tell, which is the training rather than a style, and nothing is sold at any point in it.

The part most people have never been asked.

What you keep

Four things, and none of them need me afterward.

  • Your sentence, written downIn your words rather than mine, which is the only version that survives a bad week in February.
  • The four measures, with your numbersA baseline you can repeat yourself in twelve weeks whether or not I am involved.
  • A written recap, within two daysOne page. What you said, what we measured, and the experiment you chose. Yours to keep and yours to act on alone.
  • The first experiment, already sizedNamed, and small enough that you rated your confidence at seven or better before we finished.

If you never speak to me again, all four of those are still yours and still work. That is deliberate. A first session you cannot use without buying the second one is a sales call with a longer run time.

The introductory rate

$150$79

One hour, the four measures
and the written recap.

Paid when you book · no conversation first

And it comes off coaching if you carry on.

  • The session on its own, at the introductory rate$79
  • Credited against your first coaching cycle, in full, if you start within thirty daysMinus $79
  • So a first cycle at the founding rate costs$120

There is no catch in that and no pressure attached to it. If the hour tells you that coaching is not what you need, it has done its job and you have a recap and a baseline for $79. If it tells you the opposite, the money follows you.

It is $79 because the session is new, and I would rather have run a hundred of them than defend the price of the first ten. It goes to $150 once that is no longer true. Whatever you pay is what you paid, and nobody who books at the introductory rate is asked for the difference afterward.

The free twenty five minute conversation is still there and still free. It is a shorter, different thing: a chance to work out whether any of this is a fit. This hour is the work itself.

Give it to somebody

A gift certificate, for the person who has been told to sort their sleep out.

An hour, four measures and a written page, in their words rather than yours. It does not expire, it is not a subscription, and nobody chases them if they never book it. They can also put it toward coaching or toward Groundwork instead, at full value.

Buy a gift certificate Any amount, or the price of a session

Nobody has ever asked me what I actually want from this.

The honest part

You may not need anything after this.

Some people take the sentence and the four numbers and run it themselves, and that is a complete outcome rather than a failed sale. If you want somebody alongside it, the coaching is there and the $79 comes off it. If you do not, nothing happens next and nobody follows up.
