You already sell a good night's sleep.
Every hotel competes on the mattress, the blackout blind and the pillow menu. None of it teaches the guest the part that actually decides how they sleep. That part takes forty five minutes and a room you already have.
I am Ian Kendall, a health coach in Portland. I run these sessions inside hotels, apartment buildings and workplaces, and I coach people one to one the rest of the week.

A group that just flew in.
Forty people land on a Sunday, most of them across two or three time zones, and the first session is at eight the next morning. Half that room slept badly and every one of them is about to sit through a day that assumes otherwise. That is the single most useful forty five minutes I can give anybody, and it is already on your property.
Run as part of a group or conference booking it solves the problem every other guest session has, which is whether anybody turns up. The block is scheduled, the headcount is known, and nobody has to decide to come downstairs. You can price it inside the contract the way you price the rest of the programme. I invoice the property, never the guest.
One session, start to finish.
Nothing is installed, nothing is delivered, and nothing continues after I leave unless a guest asks for it.
You give me a room and a time
A meeting room, the fitness studio or a quiet corner of the lobby.
For a group, whatever slot the agenda already has. For guests generally, early evening and the hour after breakfast fill best. If it goes in a programme or on a board, I will write that line for you.
About ten minutes of work on your side
Thirty minutes before, fifteen after
Seating set, materials laid out, room left as I found it.
No equipment, no storage and nothing that has to live on your property between sessions. If it is a room I have not seen, one photograph beforehand means there is no separate site visit.
Works for a room of twelve or a room of sixty
Forty five minutes, seated
Sleep, breathing and recovery, in that order.
Nobody changes clothes, nobody is put on the spot and nobody is asked anything personal out loud. People practise two or three things in the room and leave with them written down on a card.
Travel and time zones are the worked example throughout
In writing within two business days
Attendance and what the room said, in a form you can forward.
Headcount, how people rated it, and what they said they would try. Aggregate only, so it never contains a name, an individual answer or anything about anybody's health.
Same format every time, so it compares across stays
Three ways hotels book it.
The same forty five minutes underneath all three. Invoiced to the property, net 30, with no contract and nothing to install.
Conference block
Delivered as part of a group, conference or incentive programme, in whatever slot the agenda already has. The headcount is known before I arrive.
- Scheduled into the programme rather than promoted to guests
- Priced inside your contract however you price the rest of it
- Written up within two business days for the planner as well as for you
A single session
One session on a chosen evening or morning, open to whoever is staying. Good for a launch, a seasonal programme or seeing whether it fits your property before committing to anything.
- Either of us can move or cancel free with 72 hours notice
- No minimum turnout, and I will not pretend one is guaranteed
- Same written report afterwards
Monthly
The same day and time each month, so it becomes something your team can put on a board and your regulars can plan around. This is the version that compounds.
- Three or more sessions booked as a monthly engagement
- A one page summary every quarter across all of them
- No contract, and you can stop whenever it stops being worth it
What you get, and what I will not tell you.
Headcount within two business days. Where five or more people fill in a card, the share who would attend another one, an average score out of ten, and an anonymous summary of what people said they would try.
No reservation records, no folio data, no loyalty information and no way for me to know which guests stayed. I do not collect names or contact details in the room. Feedback is on anonymous paper cards, counted and then destroyed.
And nothing else, because with four cards on a table anonymous stops being anonymous. That rule does not bend for a bigger booking.
I will not tell you a forty five minute session moves your guest satisfaction scores, your review ratings or your rate. Nobody can demonstrate that, and a number built to look like it would be one I invented. I would rather measure what actually happens in your rooms and put that in writing.
The vendor file is already done.
Commercial general liability through Hiscox Insurance Company Inc. at $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate, with $100,000 damage to rented premises and $5,000 medical expenses, plus separate cyber and data risk coverage at $250,000. Certificates are issued in the name of Elevate Health & Fitness LLC and furnished on request. W9 on file, and I complete standard vendor registration at no charge. Participants stay seated throughout and no strenuous activity is involved.
Twenty minutes, and I will tell you if it does not fit.
Bring whatever you already run for guests and I will tell you honestly whether this adds anything to it. If your property is not the right fit, or the timing is wrong, that is a fine outcome and I will say so on the call.
Or write to me at ian@elevatewellbeing.coach. If you run apartments or a workplace rather than a hotel, the live sessions page is written for you instead.
